Retractable Awnings – Deck and Patio
Retractable awnings expand your home beyond its walls by providing on-demand solar protection. They can be installed on a wall, under a soffit, on a roof or attached to a free-standing frame. With the touch of a button or the turn of a hand crank, they transform a deck, patio, outdoor kitchen, spa, pool or play area into a comfortable environment.
Retractable awnings are self-storing, maintenance-free, and have no unsightly poles or angle braces.
Three retractable awning types are available:
Open Frame Retractable Awnings
Fabric, shoulders and arms are fully exposed when the awning is extended, but covered by a loose valance when the awning is closed. Minimum: 6’ x 3’. Maximum: 40’ x 14.5’.
Semi-cassette Retractable Awnings
Fabric is enclosed in a protective case when the awning is closed. Shoulders and arms are covered by a loose valance. Minimum: 8’ x 4’. Maximum: 40’ x 13’.
Full Cassette Retractable Awnings
Fabric, shoulders and arms are fully enclosed in a protective case when the awning is closed. With a clean, contemporary appearance, this is the model of choice for high visibility locations, tight spaces or roof mount applications. Minimum: 8’ x 6.5’. Maximum: 45’ x 13’.
Within each of these types, different models are available to meet a variety of tastes and budgets.
Frame components, which are fabricated in Germany and Switzerland, are galvanized and/or powder coated for longevity, then shipped to the U.S. for assembly. All fasteners and connectors are stainless steel.
